This event will feature a special 30-minute SAS Alumni Discussion on AI and the future of education moderated by Max Song '10. Max is currently an Entrepreneur In Residence & Strikeforce Fellow for Peter Diamandis. He is also a founder, investor and board member for a variety of organizations. He will lead the conversation around what he calls the age of acceleration and the approaching inflection point in society and education. SAS '10; Entrepreneur In Residence & Strikeforce Fellow at Peter H. Diamandis (PHD Ventures)
Max Song is the Entrepreneur In Residence & Strikeforce Fellow for Peter Diamandis. He is a founder, investor and board member. Previously, he has started companies in biotech, machine learning, edtech and climate change. He worked as an investor for two multi-billion family offices, where he invested in TMT, AI, blockchain, and healthcare. Max started his career as a data scientist in Silicon Valley for Ayasdi, where he led data analysis for financial applications, notably Citibank's 2014 Federal Stress Test. Max received a Masters degree from Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, and Bachelor of Science from Brown University, where he majored in Applied Math and Computer Science. Max is the co-chair of IEEE Planet Positive 2030 Forestry Committee, and a board director of an Asia virtual bank.
Max is also a graduate of Shanghai American School class of 2010.
